Schools

To a local elementary school:

            I wanted to write to everyone who worked on the North Bend Elementary Patriot Program and its wonderful ceremony.  This was a truly remarkable ceremony that clearly required a lot of planning.  The number of Patriots indicates how strong of a program your school has, both in this ceremony and with the rest of the education system.

            Please also extend my appreciation to all the children who participated in the marching demonstration.  Their performance was remarkable.  It was a delight to watch, and an honor to be able to attend the ceremony.

            The decorations of the gymnasium were also extremely well done.  If it would be possible to find out how the felt banners were made, I would be grateful.

            Thank you for everything that you did to make the  Patriot Program so successful this year.  The terrific ceremony really highlights the students’ performances and encourages the younger children to attempt to reach the same accomplishments as the higher grades.  The students are lucky to attend your school.

            Please extend my thanks and appreciation to the entire staff and anyone else who may have helped with the program, and be sure to let us know if we can be of any assistance to your community in the future.
